FAMILY GIVING
P.S. 118 relies on donations from our families and community to supplement DOE funding, which consistently falls short of what's needed for basic operations and essential school programs. The annual fund is a campaign of direct gifts that, together with revenue from PTA-sponsored events, directly supplements P.S. 118's operating budget.
Gifts are 100% tax-deductible.
Gifts range from five dollars to well over $5,000. Every single donation counts toward our goal - please make a gift that is meaningful for your family. Our goal is 100% participation.

VOLUNTEERING
The P.S. 118 PTA is a community of parents and caregivers who want to make the elementary school experience better for ALL of our students. The PTA consists of every single parent and guardian of current P.S. 118 students—that means YOU. In addition to recruiting annually for our Executive Board, we are always on the lookout for volunteers to help with various fundraising activities, parents with specific skills they'd like to offer, or anyone that has a few extra hours
Any amount of time donated will be appreciated and it’s a great way to become part of the awesome P.S. 118 community.
