School Procedures & FAQs
Arrival
School begins at 8:20AM. Students are welcome to arrive between 7:50AM and 8:15AM for breakfast and play in the cafeteria.
Dismissal
Dismissal occurs between 2:35-2:40 PM at the gates on 7th Street.
School Meals
P.S. 118 is proud to offer breakfast and lunch at no charge to all students as part of the New York City Public Schools food service program. We serve healthy and nutritious food prepared onsite so students can thrive in and outside of our classrooms.
Breakfast is served in the cafeteria from 7:50-8:15am. No sign up or advanced notice is necessary.
Lunch times vary by class.

Student Change of Address
Please contact Teresa Bazzi (MBazzi@schools.nyc.gov) to update your family’s address whenever there are any changes.
Once your child is enrolled at PS 118, a change in address does not affect their ability to continue as a student at our school.
